This article has a very interesting interactive map that details state outputs of the six major types of renewable energies, and to my surprise concluded that Texas actually produces the most renewable energy due in large part to its monstrous wind energy production. This article is a short and insightful read in how far the US has come in its sustainability journey and how far we still need to go.
